Mom: Do you think our kids understand the meaning of Easter? Dad: Beats me. I'm not even sure I understand the meaning of our kids. Luann: Shut up, Brad! Brad: make me! Mom: I remember one Easter when Luann was six and Brad was ten. Luann and I were dying Easter eggs in the kitchen. Luann: Look! I dipped it in all the colors and made a greeny brown one!! Mom: How lovely. Then, Brad came in and said: Boy! If I were the Easter bunny, I sure wouldn't bring a buncha dumb ol hardboiled eggs! Mom: Oh? And what would Brad bunny bring? Luann: yeah! Brad: Donuts! Luann: That's stupid, Brad! How could you dye donuts? They'd get all gooshy! Brad: You wouldn't dye em, dumbo- you'd just eat them! Luann: You hafta dye easter eggs! That's the whole reason for Easter! Brad: Grow up, Luann! The reason for Easter is to get good stuff to eat! Mom: Anyway, I hope you two have learned the real reason for Easter. Luann: Yeah! A week off from school!!
