Mr. Fogarty: The theme of national geography awareness week is water-and how to conserve it. Does anyone know how much water the average American uses at home each day? Knute: A hundred gallons. Mr. Fogarty: That's right, Knute. How'd you know that? Knute: cuz every time I take a shower, my dad yells, "hey! you're usin a hundred gallons of water in there!!" Mr. Fogarty: You know, you can buy a simple device to cut down the volume. Knute: Yeah. But my dad would never wear it.
