Luann: Mom, I'm not a little kid anymore. don't you think I'm old enough to- Mom: no. Luann: " No"?! Mother, how can you say no? You didn't even hear my question yet. Mom: "don't you think I'm old enough to: A. wear makeup to school B. stay out past 11 pm. C. Get a bigger allowance D. have a phone in my bedroom. E. Have my own credit card. Mom: Was it one or more of those? Luann: Um...yeah... Mom: No. Luann: Shee, when I was 5, I could get anything I wanted. Now I'm 13 and I Can't get anything! Brad: Try your old trick of flopping on the floor and screaming til your eyes bug out.
