TJ says, "You don't like Toni, do you, Mrs. D?" Nancy says, "I admire her dedication to firefighting. But emotionally, I just don't trust her." TJ says, "Why not?" Nancy says, "Because she's a beauty with a weakness for flashy, exciting guys. She's into Brad now, but I worry that she'll get tired of him." Luann says, "'Beauty and the bore.'"
That was ONE guy, that doesn’t establish a pattern. Her pattern however is protective/hero types. Brad is different, he was a friend first (although had ulterior motives) and she found something she hasn’t had before. Genuineness.
