Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for December 13, 2011
Transcript:
Luann: "What was Tiffany saying?" Quill: "Oh. Just yabbering about our L.A. trip. We're sharing a flight but she talks like it's our honeymoon" Luann: "Honeymoon?!" Quill: "To her, not to me" Luann: "That doesn't make me feel any better" Quill: "Believe me, I can resist the charms of a lovely female" Luann: "Ok, still not feeling better"
Most of it’s due to that artificial time constraint – to be fair, Greg can only bring his teenagers along so far before they just grow off the edge of the Luanniverse. Luann will never graduate, so any “evolution” she undergoes at Pitts will probably have to be undone and redone – because if Greg takes this any further we’ll be watching middle aged Rotarians prepping for SATs.
Let’s face it, no one’s interested in seeing someone with the emotional maturity of their mom in high school. “Strangers With Candy” has already been done.
