Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for May 26, 2013
Transcript:
Luann: "Dad, were you ever in a war?" Dad: "Yes! In high school. I plated guitar in a battle of the bands" Luann: "I mean a REAL war. Like in the marines or army" Luann: "Were you shipped out to sea or stationed in a desert outpost? Did you ever sweep a village for terrorists or storm an enemy compound? Did you ever get shot at or bombed or anything like that?" Dad: "It was an extremely competitive battle of the bands"
Philosophical question: Does war, death and sacrifice make a country better? — or can it be great without these things?
