Thanksgiving seems to get the short shrift as a holiday. As soon as the Halloween stuff is off the racks at the stores, the Christmas stuff is on, and the countdown “X shopping days until Christmas!” starts. In between all that, though, is this comparatively simple day on which we get together with family and friends and simply appreciate all of the abundance we have. And there is abundance everywhere. There is always something to be thankful for. For example, I’m thankful for this strip to start my day and this little community here. Happy Turkey Day, everyone!
