D-i-c-e-R, I don’t think Sulu was gay in the original series. The actor who played him was, but I seriously doubt the character’s sexuality was ever addressed. The guy who plays Sulu in the new movie is the same guy who plays Harold in the Harold & Kumar movies.
Oh, and the movie? Six degrees of awesome, even if you’re not a fan of the original series. It’s just a great sci-fi/action flick.
