OK, let me say something about what’s prevalent in the news today.
School Shootings and Gun Control.
There, I said it. Now you know you can skip this posting if you want.
There are fewer guns per capita than there were 100, even 50 years ago, but there are more shootings. Why?
How about this: in every case where the motive can be determined, the motivation is the shooter either was verbally bullied or rejected by a girl. That’s right, basically the other kids made fun of him, so he went and got his daddy’s guns and shot up the place.
To put it succinctly, almost every case of a school shooting is essentially a more extreme case exactly like what’s happened here with Annie.
All you commenters cheering Annie on, saying she should have hit him harder, etc., you all should be thrilled to see your wishes coming to reality at schools all around the country.
So. Basically, the reason there are more school shootings is that it’s become increasingly acceptable, even applauded, when a “victim” lashes out violently against his “tormenetors.” 50 years ago, when somebody was bullied, people would say, “suck it up.” Today, we say, or at least imply with our attitudes, “kill ’em.”
You people cheering for Annie here — tell me I’m wrong.
