My birthday cards from my in-laws are addressed to Mrs. (my husband’s name). I suppose that was the proper ettiquette back when they got married, but it feels the same way as Tina’s does. But I guess it is true - if I wasn’t married to their son, they wouldn’t be sending me a birthday card, even if I gave birth to two of their grandchildren.
