My granddaughter called me today and needed an interview about me for black history month (since I graduated HS in 55) and I told her what I remembered -including that my parents did not like a friendship with a black girl in my gym class, but I also told her that I do not like any activist groups (including NOW or AARP) and consider them a bunch of troublemakers as I always have. I am a senior woman and prefer to be unemployed than accept membership in such.
