Man 1: Wait up, Dude... I need to hit the ATm machine. Man 2: 'K. Obviousman: *Sigh* Sounds like another job for... Obviousman! Stop right there, acronym abusers!! Man 1 & Man 2: *Gasp* Obviousman: ATM means automatic teller machine, so saying "ATM machine" is redundant! Man 1: Oh. Man 2: Cool. Obviousman: My work is done here. Man 2: Uh, dude...? What does redundant mean? Man 1: Dunno... I zoned out after acronym.
Of course, ATM is not an acronym at all. It’s just an initialism.
