They're gonna pay out half a million bucks to someone who comes up with the best idea on how people could travel to another solar system. Lucy: Oh. Umm... why? Danae: They're not paying out anything to answer that question, so I don't care.
Y’know, I think Lucy’s just raised a really good point.
Tea Partyers want to take a chainsaw to Social Security and Medicare, but the Pentagon’s offering half a million bucks for a way to send people to Alpha Centauri.
I bet the winner will be somebody from who suggests building a REALLY big cannon…
