Feng shui is just more superstition from a country where many people subscribe to numerology (including lucky and unlucky numbers), ancestral spirits (including burning “ghost money” so the dearly departed will have something to spend in the afterlife), Chinese “traditional” medicine (which is to say, worthless if not outright harmful quackery), acupuncture, “chi” force (and the need to “align” it), reincarnation, lucky colors, and Chairman Mao’s Little Red Book.
But hey, if capitalists can make money off of it, you know it was eventually destined for America.
