Back when I lived in Illinois there were plenty of different trees that all changed in the Fall (but that was the ONLY thing I liked about the weather. I will still go back once in a while because I have some children there (others in Ft. Worth and Boulder). As I’ve said, here in Phoenix only my Ficus leaves sometimes turn brown and fall, but I have flowers year round and both grapefruit and oranges, palms and cactus, even a Cyprus. The pyracantha berries will turn a beautiful red too.
