I was taught in teacher school to give specific directions and avoid having them open-ended. It is funnier that Ruthie’s teacher missed that lesson. I’d reward the complete answer, anyway. It is more interesting to read! Most kids would write, “Eat breakfast.” That is an incomplete sentence, and boring.
