hammy: let's see...go back in time...stop you from changing verne... RJ: ...don't mess with anything else..go! two weeks ago... RJ: verne, a soul patch isn't going to make you look like a hipster. hammy: wait! stop! leave verne alone! the future is so shiny! RJ: why don't you ever listen? verne: I never know what's going on.
I want to at least hold out for mirror reverse – I can read that if I stand on my head. Hand-set printing set the type left-to-right, upside down, the next line being set above the previous in the composing stick.
Once, back in the dark ages, someone put the carbon paper in backwards and gave me the mirror copy as a joke. I turned it upside down and started reading it out loud at a normal speed. “You can read it” the secretary exclaimed. “Yes, isn’t that why you gave it to me?” Then explained how I got this now-useless talent.
