verne: RJ, corn is a vegetable...candy corn is not a vegetable. rj: but i has corn in it. verne: the only corn in candy corn is high fructose corn syrup. rj: so it does have corn in it...ergo: it's a vegetable. verne: By that logic everything you eat is a vegetable. rj: Gasp!...that means I'm a vegetarian! Rj: Wait! I don't have to start wearing socks with sandals, do I??!
I am surprised that Verne would get something so innocuous wrong. Corn is in fact a grain, not a vegetable. Also If I remember right doesn’t candy corn have a gelatin base? No vegetarian can eat jello or marshmellows. They also shouldn’t eat most cheeses. Vegans of course refrain from all of it. Sorry for the long post.. My brain decided it wanted to talk.
