Cute….really cute.At least here we can question it and look at it….even make fun of it. In 1964 I moved with my parents to another country, Pakistan, back then it was West Pakistan as Bangladesh had not been created. We, as Americans, we were required to sing their National Anthem, swear allegiance to their flag, and bow to their “President” under threat or arrest and/or deportation…..there was no age limit. I learned how nice it was to have freedom even if restrained some than live like that. There were two things my father taught me…..one we never dip our flag to any other leader………two we never bow to any royalty or leader of another country. It was hard on my dad back then to ask me to do these things. We were not allowed to celebrate the Fourth of July. However we did one year……..a very brave Pakistani Military Band…..Gurkhas types from the Hill Country played OUR National Anthem…..there was not a dry eye in the park and that included them.
