Lucy makes a long put. Little lines trace the path of the golf ball to the hole. Charlie Brown holds the flag and says, "Beautiful putt, Lucy! Beautiful!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown whispers to Lucy, "This next hole is par four... straight down the middle and past those trees." Lucy holds a huge driver.<BR><BR> Lucy tees off while Charlie Brown acts as caddy and holds her golf bag full of clubs.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "Wow! What a drive!"<BR><BR> Lucy hits the ball again, creating a divot. Charlie Brown says, "Beautiful iron shot, Lucy! beautiful!"<BR><BR> Lucy sinks another putt. Charlie Brown says, "Wow! What a putt!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brwon says, "You're going to make a great golfer, Lucy... yes, sir, really great..."<BR><BR> Lucy sits down in a sand trap (bunker) and starts making a sand castle. Charlie Brown says, "If only you didn't lose interest so fast."<BR><BR>
This is the most bizarre story, Lucy the great golfer. I wonder what Schulz was thinking. He said he regretted this story line.
