Patty and Charlie Brown stand watching a Snowman 'sitting' on the edge of the curb. Patty says, "Very imaginative.." He says, "Thank you."<BR><BR> They walk off down the lane and he continues, "If you'll step over here, I'll show you another one of my many creations..."<BR><BR> They stand next to a snowman's head and she asks, "That is a snowman?!" He says, "Sure..."<BR><BR> He concludes, "He's standing in a hole!"<BR><BR>
Look at that. Schultz beat Waterson to the punch. He had the first snowman gag in the comics. Of course Calvin took it to new heights.
