He says, "I have the feeling that everybody is laughing at me.."<br> <br> He sits next to her as she asks, "All the time?"<br> <br> She stands as he replies, "Well....almost.."<br> <br> He stands next to her and concludes, "The only time nobody laughs at me is when I'm trying to be funny"<br> <br>
At this point in the strip’s history, as angry as she gets with him, Violet is still Charlie Brown’s friend and is very sympathetic when he’s down. That will change later.
