Charlie Brown is in the field looking over into the bag Lucy is holding. She asks, "You don't like cocoanut do you, Charlie Brown?" <br> <br> She resumes eating from the bag. He replies, "No, I can't stand cocoanut" <br> <br> She continues eating and says, "I didn't think you liked it...Chomp Chomp Chomp gobble-gobble-gulp!" <br> <br> He looks at the reader as she tosses the bag away and exclaims, "Those were chocolate creams!"<br> <br>
“Cocoanut”? Has he been using this alternate spelling for all instances of this word before today’s strip? I just noticed it.
