Charlie Brown runs around the corner. He holds kite string in his hand.<br> <br> He stops and turns around: "That stupid kite went down again!"<br> <br> He follows the string around a tree where it has been caught: "KITES DRIVE ME CRAZY!"<br> <br> "I've never seen one yet that didn't get itself all tangled up in everything...Excuse me.." Charlie Brown tugs on the string as Schroeder rides by on a tricycle, wound up in kite string. He thinks, "?"<br> <br> He follows the string up to a hole in a wooden fence: "I WONDER WHERE THAT FOOL THING WENT DOWN?"<br> <br> He trails the kite string through the hook on the lid of a trash can. He says, "How I hate kites!! I'll never buy another one as long as I live!!!"<br> <br> "Excuse me..." Charlie Brown apologizes as he unwinds kite string from Snoopy, who is all tangled up.<br> <br> "I hate every bone in that kite's body!" Charlie Brown unwinds the string from around some wooden posts.<br> <br> "Good grief!! What a mess!" The kite string is wound up with a garden hose.<br> <br> CHarlie Brown stands in profile and announces: "So THAT'S where you came down, eh? GOOD!" <br> <br> Charlie Brown shakes his fist at the kite, which is stuck in a trash bin: "BURN, YOU MONSTER!!"<br> <br>
