"Going to give it another try, huh?" Lucy asks as she follows Charlie Brown down the street. He carries a kite under his arm.<br> <br> "Yup!" he says grimly.<br> <br> "I figure if I'm ever going to get this kite up in the air, I've got to fly it where there aren't any trees.." Charlie Brown explains as he crouches on the round, adjusting the kite. Lucy lies on her stomach.<br> <br> "You're very wise, Charlie Brown.." Lucy stands with her hands behind her back as Charlie Brown kneels and holds up the kite.<br> <br> "OKAY, LET HER GO!!!" Charlie Brown races off, holding onto the string. Lucy holds the kite in front of her.<br> <br> Charlie Brown runs, his kite twisting and dragging behind him. Lucy stands behind him and watches.<br> <br> "RUN, CHARLIE BROWN! GET IT UP! GET IT UP! RUN FASTER!! RUN! RUN!" Lucy stands in profile and shouts.<br> <br> Lucy runs.<br> <br> "I can't stand it!" Charlie Brown announces. His eyes are closed. Lucy looks at him. He holds the string, but the kite has slipped down a street corner sewer.<br> <br>
