"Hey manager..I wanna talk with you!" Lucy announces as she approaches Charlie Brown, who stands next to the bench.<br> <br>They face each other. Lucy demands: "Why do I have to play in the outfield all the time? Huh?"<br> <br>"Why don't I ever get to play in the infield?"<br> <br> "How come I have to play in the outfield all the time?" she repeats. Charlie Brown stands with his hands behind his back.<br> <br> "I'm a born infielder! I shouldn't be stuck out there all the time." Lucy declares as she follws Charlie Brown.<br> <br> She stands behind him: "How come I can't ever play something besides outfield? Huh? Huh?"<br> <br> "Why should I have to play in the outfield all the time? Why?" She follows him as he walks away.<br> <br> "Why shouldn't I play in the infield now and then? Huh?"<br> <br> Lucy stands behind him: "How come I have to play in the outfield all the time? Huh? How come? Huh? Huh?" Charlie Brown closes his eyes.<br> <br> He throws his hands in the air and relents: "All right! I'll let you play shortstop, but if someone hits you a hot one, don't come crying to me!" <br> <br> Lucy crouches in position. <br> <br> POW! A ball knocks Lucy tumbling into the air. <br> <br> Frowning, she walks away. <br> <br> "Look at ME! I'ma an outfielder!" Lucy throws her arms open wide.<br> <br>
At least she didn’t lose her clothes as Charlie Brown does in such situations.
