Linus approaches Charlie Brown with Lucy, who is eating. Linus says, "Charlie Brown, we need your advice.."<br> <br> He continues, "Say a person has a bag of candy and half of the pieces have coconut in them..say the person she is going to share them with can't stand coconut.."<br> <br> Linus asks, "Does he have to accept the coconut ones along with the others if he thinks she is trying to get rid of them because she doesn't like them either?"<br> <br> Charlie Brown replies, "I have never pretended to be able to solve moral issues!"<br> <br>
Charlie Brown should recuse himself from the hypothetical case on the grounds that he also cannot stand coconut.
