Snoopy sits looking up at a falling leaf. He thinks, "If I were a leaf you'd never catch Me falling off a tree!"

Snoopy hugs the tree and thinks, "I'd hang on for dear life! I'd stay with that tree until they came to get me!"

He kicks and continues, "Even then they'd have to drag me off! I'd kick and scream and put up a real fight!"

He concludes, "I'd make a lousy leaf!"

Snoopy would be a good beech or oak, though. They’re very known for foliage marcescence.
