Charlie Brown and Linus unpack. Linus says, "Everyone is supposed to report to the ski hut, Charlie Brown."<BR><BR> Linus and Charlie Brown rush to the ski hut. Linus says, "We have to get all our equipment . . "<BR><BR> Charlie Brown asks, "Where's Snoopy?" Linus replies, "He's in the fitting room trying on ski boots . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy sits inside of a boot and thinks, "I may have to go one size smaller . . ."<BR><BR>
With “Peanuts” being a strip with such an iconically simplified style, it’s sometimes easy, for me at least, to forget that Schulz probably had a great deal of artistic skill outside of just the “Peanuts” stuff, as most cartoonists do. I say all of this because the ink detail on the shoe is both not the typical “Peanuts” style yet is still quite well-drawn, or so I think.
