Charlie Brown stands in the snow outside Lucy's door. He holds a shovel and says, "Shovel your walk for a quarter?"<BR><BR> Lucy asks, "What if it snows tomorrow and covers up our walk again? Do we get our quarter back?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown replies, "No, by then I will have spent it in riotous living . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy closes the door and says, "Forget it!"<BR><BR>
If I don’t shovel your walk today, if it snows again tomorrow, the snow will be twice as thick, and good luck to you then! So why should I give you back your quarter, since I still rendered you a service?
