Lucy stands in the outfield and calls, "Brush this guy back!"<BR><BR> "Hey, batter! Hey, batter! Hey, batter!"<BR><BR> Lucy looks off to the side and yells, "Come on, Charlie Brown, strike him out!"<BR><BR> She walks.<BR><BR> Lucy stands at an angle on the pitcher's mound, facing Charlie Brown. She says, "I know you like lots of chatter out there, manager, but I can't think of anything to chatter.."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown thinks, "Well, how about saying, 'Throw it to 'im, pitcher,' or how about, 'He can't hit what he can't see!'" [PANEL 7]: "Another good one is, 'Show 'im the high, hard one!'"<BR><BR> [PANEL 8]: Lucy asks, "Could you write some of those down? I'll never be able to remember them otherwise." [PANEL 9]: Charlie Brown's mitt lies on the mound; he writes on a piece of paper.<BR><BR> [PANEL 10]: Lucy walks away, reading the paper. She says, "Thank you...This will be a big help.."[PANEL 11]: Lucy stands in the field and reads, "'Okay, pitcher, throw it past him! He can't hit what he can't see!'"<BR><BR> [PANEL 12]: "'Pitch hard, Charlie Brown!'" BONK The baseball lands on the ground right behind her. [PANEL 13]: Lucy continues, "Stay with 'im, kid! You can do it, Charlie Brown!<BR><BR> [PANEL 13, con't]: Be good, boy! Good shot! Show 'im the high, hard one!'" The baseball sits behind her. [PANEL 14]: Charlie Brown, on the pitcher's mound, sighs.<BR><BR>
