Marcie stands outside a door and whisopers, "Psst . . Hey, Chuck . . Are you in there?" A voice asks, "Who is it?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown lies in bed. He hears, "It's me . . Marcie . . . You know from camp . . We were playing 'Ha Ha, Herman' together . ." Charlie Brown says, "I'm sorry . . . I don't want to see anyone."<BR><BR> Sally and Marcie stand by the door. Sally says, "If my brother doesn't want to see you, I think you should leave."<BR><BR> Snoopy lies on the doghouse. Marcie says, "I don't suppose it would do any good to talk to you, would it?" Snoopy thinks, "My mind reels with sarcastic replies!"<BR><BR>
Snoopy tends to be dismissive of Charlie Brown. He almost never refers to him by name, preferring to think of him as “the round-headed kid.”
But still, it’s nice to know that Snoopy is loyal when the chips are down. He joined Charlie Brown in walking out of the game and is snubbing Marcie (even though it was Peppermint Patty, not her) who insulted Charlie Brown.
