Sally stands outside with a kid, who says, "It'll be fun."<BR><BR> They walk. He adds, "Maybe popcorn, too."<BR><BR> Sally stands on the doorstep, calling, "You're going to call me?"<BR><BR> Inside, she walks past Charlie Brown, who is seated, reading. Sally says, "That kid wants me to go to the show with him, but I don't want to go!"<BR><BR> Sally struggles with her sleeve, as she says, "I need a good excuse..maybe I can say I'm coming down with the flu, or I have to wash my hair.." Charlie Brown watches from behind.<BR><BR> Sally considers, "Maybe our family is doing something that afternoon..or maybe I could say I think Gramma might be coming over..."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown reads, and advises, "Tell him you have homework to do..that's always a good excuse." Sally sits in the beanbag, watching TV. She says, "I don't know..when he calls, I guess I'll think of something.."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown, in profile, holds the phone. He says, "Here, it's him..what are you going to say?"<BR><BR> Sally shouts into the phone: "WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I'D EVER WANT TO GO ANYPLACE WITH YOU?!"<BR><BR> Sally is seated in the beanbag, watching TV. She says, "I knew I'd think of something." Charlie Brown rolls his eyes.<BR><BR>
