Phoebe: It's nice having the power back on but it's fun having it go out for a while. That dark, the quiet... it's like camping! Dad: If I were camping I would make sure the wi-fi didn't go out. Phoebe: Mom says you camp wrong.
I’m British. I regularly drive to and camp on sites around Europe, in a tent with comfortable beds and chairs, on dedicated sites with (usually) decent sanitary and other facilities. Oh, and WiFi nowadays. I love being under canvas, but roughing it for the sake of it, when I can be perfectly comfortable, is either masochism, misplaced nostalgia or just plain silly.
