Templo, you gotta study cartoon physics.A lot of people apparently don’t understand it… or know that it’s a required course in the GoComics curriculum…but they don’t do as well here.
Under the laws of cartoon physics, an article in or on a body of water, in a comic or cartoon, will float in proportion to the weight it carries in the punchline.
Thus, if it is heavily involved in the humor, it will float…unless, of course, the joke requires that it sink.
Objects will always move in the direction of most humor…at a speed and distance in proportion to their comic weight.
