Tiffany and Bernice are the two most ambitious go-getters in the strip. Tiffany really wants to be an actress, and she is willing to take all sorts of small jobs on the periphery of show business to help her realize that ambition. 95% or more of the kids at Pitt (including Luann) seem to be slackers, but Tiffany is indeed “driven”.___________________________________You are SO funny!!!
It’s not so much that Tiff must be portrayed as evil, but that Tiff isn’t smart enough to think of anything like that.Beside, I don’t think it would work, anyway. You promise kids a party, then say “Oh, sorry! No party, no dressing up, but you can have this nice piece of paper and a picture…..”These kids are what? second grade? I doubt they’d be so enthuastic about making decorations if that were to happen. But this does answer the question of why Tiff wanted this job. She’s responsible for getting the decorations for the dance, and her classmates know her too well. They’re not about to do all the work and let Tiff take all the credit, so she needed some innocents for slave labor.
If Tiffany is such a great actress, as you keep claiming, why isn’t she in Hollywood trying to break into films, commercials, or TV shows? I’m sure her dad could afford to relocate her to some high school in California where she could more easliy study acting, and try to get acting jobs in her spare time. And not every actor (or actress if you must) cares if they are popular, or wants people fawining on them.Think Tom Hanks
Geez Luann you’re acting like Tiffany!! Not a good idea.Quill make it quite clear how he feels about Tiff.
