I really don’t get it. When I was a child, I could see that my parents did much more work than us and that they did not always like it. Also, we never did work for money, why would anyone get paid to do their fair share of work? The work had to be done because it needed to be done, and we did not get an “allowance”, we got (a generous amount of) money whenever we needed money for something.
If you are ignorant about the political situation in Iraq, maybe you should refrain from judging a whole people as deserving of torture and oppression.
Your description of the killings in Iraq are as appropriate as saying that the Boston marathon attacks were about “Americans killing Americans”. Technically true, but so incomplete as to be wrong.
The instability in Iraq comes in a large part from other countries pouring in weapons, fighters, suicide bombers and missionaries for their respective causes.
It is very, very difficult to pass from dictatorship or civil war to democracy, it is quite a bit easier to keep a democracy established over many decades and this has nothing to do with the people being deserving or not.
People will pay you to say what they think other people need to here, though. (This includes insulting absent people or being paid by the boss of the audience.)
