It is stated correctly. Being twice as cold would set the mark at 38.5°K, ten times colder at 7.7°K, hundred times colder 0.77°K, etc. A trillion times colder would set the temp at 77 / 1e12 = 0.000,000,000,077°K
Good point but a few things to consider: First that would be the wet paint weight. After the solvent evaporates the remaining weight would be cut in at least half. Secondly, over time at least some of the paint would flake off or removed by the painters. How much? No idea. Lastly dunno about you but it seems in a lot of the things I paint, the paint tends to hold the object together. Admittedly a minor effect but a small comfort factor. :)
No kidding! I tried to google a good article that discussed her abilities. I found several references to mirrored wring ability but little about Lena’s abilities. I did find out that her married name was Lena Bare, lives in California, and that she’s a Ripley’s alumni from 1946 making this a 70 year-old repeat! http://tinyurl.com/zlof4ot The best reference I could find is on page 2 of the pdf doc: http://tinyurl.com/gqzsccn It seems she wrote a book, though it’s not clear that the book has anything to do with her mirrored writing ability. http://tinyurl.com/hxotsdo
Actually it’s 9 possibilities for the first multiplied by 8 possibilities for the second and so on, thus 9 factorial or 9! which works out to 362880 combinations. Of course that doesn’t consider that there would be many mirror combinations and many nonsense combinations assuming the game is terminated when a player gets three in a row.
