Dr. Strangelove and Full Metal Jacket were fast paced and involving. The Shining was slow but gripping, and too chilling for me to call it boring. Barry Lyndon on the other hand…

Could this be the interior of Snoopy’s doghouse? I don’t recall ever seeing that. The A-frame and the semi-circular dorrway suggest it is, but the window and large size are problematic.

Pastis breaks the fourth wall so much it likes it doesn’t even exist. He should start having comics that break the fifth wall where he reveals the cartoon artist that draws the Pastis character… the meta-Pastis. And soon they’d be infinite meta-meta-Pastis characters. Maybe Rat could end up being meta-meta-meta Pastis.

I was taught that Paul was referring to the size of the letters, and that tradition says he had bad eye sight. The thinking is that most of the letter was transcribed by a secretary, but Paul added the farewell in his own hand as proven by the large script. There is another passage in the Bible were he refers to some hardship he has to endure, “a thorn in my side” which some claim also refers to his bad vision.

Continuity error alert – on October 16, 2011, Monty’s driver license said his address was 13 Richardweed Ln, not 1313. Maybe that’s covered by the Artistic License.
