I just LOVE the school building! If it could actually talk, I’ve always thought its voice would sound like Mr. Ed (the talking horse from a 1960s TV show of the same name, for you younger Peanuts fans — type in Mr. Ed on YouTube to hear his endearing, gravelly voice).
“Goes” was much more appealing than “was like,” which seems to be with us permanently. Some kids (and adults!) seem to use it in every other sentence…ugh.
