the fact is, understanding is based on the pneumatic structure. so if something is outside of the structure, people cannot understand it, period. what it boils down to is in reality there are very few stupid people. but there are a lot of people who do stupid things and believe only what the want to believe.
Incidentally, the post was a theological, rather than apologetic, post. It is built on the rules of logic accepted everywhere across the world. I was answering a specific question.
I was laying the question aside simply to point out that if God exists, these are what He would have to be in order to be God. I am willing to discuss it as long as you want to. I think i can prove philosophically and historically that God exists. However, that is up to you whether you want to continue the discussion.
Laying aside for a moment the question of whether God exists, i would like to point out that he would have to be omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. besides which, he would have to be loving in order to create a world so perfect (before its corruption). The reason man has so much power is that man was given freedom to choose to love or to hate God, or even to insist that he does not exist. With this freedom comes a small amount of power in that we choose what we will do rather than God forcing us to obey Him. He wants us to worship Him of our own free will rather than being forced to.
so the order in the universe came from chaos? laws do not come into being without a lawgiver. and if gravity is a theory rather than a law, im glad its a strong theory. im sorry, but your position does not hold water, so to speak.
he already knew that wasnt the correct definition but the correct definition doesnt work for the joke.
