I accept your defeat, regardless it’s just insane to pretend someone is above criticism because it’s “negativity” lol. Criticism is a very positive thing.

So you’re soft and can’t handle what you perceive as negativity.

Uhh…no. People are allowed to comment criticism if they want, if you’re offended, pass on it lol. At any rate, of course I care, Endtown was real decent once upon a time, it’s sad to see it turn to this. Not really sure how you’re picking up the emo, but you seem quite emotionally invested, and I’d recommend taking an introspective look at yourself before projecting nonsense attributes to others. Of course not everyone is seeing the faults, some people really think the star wars prequels are good movies.

Claiming the only faults of a comic is based on “taste” is nonsense.

So you see no value in criticism? I wasn’t aware taste covered plot holes as well.

Protip, there are LOTS of people who are disliking these turns and forced story telling.

Did I stop at some point?

If you’re referring to the comment a bit ago, I wanted to give it a shot, but between the blatant jabs at the readers and the admittance part of the reason this petered out was because he was rushing it, I’m just losing interest. I can see the pen as it moves on the paper if you get me.

I get what he’s trying to do, I get he wants to stay out of tropes, to keep the audience surprised and guessing, but he’s doing it incorrectly, pretending the reason people are calling the character assassination of Holly, is because they’re too stupid to see all the signs he laid out for them.

It’s hack writing, and I’m not saying he’s all bad mind you, but the comic has lost punch and point, less about the situations people find themselves in and more about a carnival of pain because he feels if he doesn’t, readers won’t be interested.

Many ways to end the arc, and he just picked the wrong one.

Aside from that I get the feeling it’s going to start focusing on Marx now, who’s just a bad character in general.

Annnd this is where I quit reading Endtown lol.

Now we try to backpedal marx as a bad character.

    Here we gooo.

I agree with the idea that Neathery may have bit off more than he planned for.

Part of the problem is, the comic seemed more set up for a small collection of tales surrounding the setting and location of Endtown.

If you’re going to turn it into something else, you really need to lay the story out and go over it to seal plot holes, but if you stop everything to do that, they you lose audience because the comic you created will stagnate as you plan it all out.

It’s unfortunate, but I don’t like this downward turn in writing he’s displaying.
