Mother dearest used to always use large curd cottage cheese, well drained, in her lasagna – much better than tasteless ricotta. To this day, my wife makes the best lasagna using Mom’s recipe, and all our guests have loved it!
Yes, it is a made up holiday – but having been married as long as I have, any excuse to pamper my wife with premium (HUGE!) roses, and a meal at a fine restaurant pays dividends in keeping her happy, and that is all that matters to me. I replace one regular filament bulb every 2 years or so in my 3 bedroom/finished basement/1000 SQ/FT garage. How? Every light in the house is on a dimmer. I stocked up on enough of them to last a lifetime. Enjoy your mercury! I’ll never have to buy a bulb again, and I am 52. SWEET!
