Rip Haywire and the Curse of Tangaroa! Graphic Novel Midnight on the roof of the Hotel Paridisio- A masked figure came to me and told me your life was in danger! I was to steal the ghost compass from you so you would track me down. Your natural thirst for danger would take care of the rest. Honestly, I did it hoping to see you again- I'm kinda warm to your form. Getting into the well-guarded hotel was rough, but I was able to sneak in. My instructions were to wait for you in your room, and then steal the ghost compass right out from under your nose, by drugging you and making you look stupid- which as you know, I'm quite good at. But afterwards I started to have my doubts about the masked stranger. Cobra Carson: I sure hope I did the right thing! Rip will hate me for this, but the black jacamar said it would save his life.
