Burp! Stuffed! On Oct. 27, 2011, in Florida, USA's, Everglades National Park, a 16 foot long non-native Python was found after it had eaten an entire adult deer! Lincoln's stovepipe hat not only served as stylish headwear for the 6th US President, but he also used it to store and carry notes, letters- and even bills! A single hagfish can turn an entire 5 gallon bucket of seawater into a viscous slime in just a few minutes!
Not all of the Everglades python population is due to their negligent owners dumping them. As I remember the story there were lots of pythons and boas that escaped from their damaged cages during Hurricane Andrew back in the early 90s. With no natural predators and a near perfect environment for them, why should we be surprised they have thrived.
