Ripley's Believe It or Not by Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for December 14, 2016
Transcript:
Every February, youngsters in the neighboring South Nepalese villages of Parsawa and Laxmipur hurl insults at each other and passersby in a 10 day cursing festival. Celebrating her 91st birthday on August 24, 2016, Mary Nash Ward opened a birthday card from her best friend- again. The floral card has been passed back and forth every year since 1950 and even survived Hurricane Katrina! Sheep grazed in New York City's Central Park until 1934!
