I don’t much like “The Scream”, but I have to defend Pollock. I remember very well the first time I saw the big Pollock at the Chicago Art Institute. It’s really quite overwhelming. It’s not just drips, it’s a world of its own. I just got lost in it. Of course liking and not liking is personal, and I’m not saying Pollock is to everyone’s taste.
