Looking in the rear view mirror, in the distant past we see the time when dumb terminals were connected to a central mainframe computer … and when the mainframe stopped so did everything else.
Later, the personal computer, laptop and notebooks freed us from the mainframe for simple tasks and as the processors become more power even more complex tasks, internet access and security risks became common.
Now, to improve battery life and lower memory costs of notebooks, netbooks, tablets and smartphones, the cloud is being used like the mainframe was. Secure devices, operating systems and applications are time-consuming and costly and in an administration that wants to eliminate regulations to make businesses more profitable, the consumer loses as new features are more important than good security for increasing sales. The consumer is of no real value to this congress and administration and it its getting worse. For example …
