I’m always amazed by american bi-partisanship. Always the blame game with you people. The lefties blame Bush for a mortgage crisis he didn’t create. The righties claim BO’s bailout package is a terrible idea (which it probably is. But where’s the choice?) but the fact remains that the Bush administration would have done the exact same thing. Why the hypocrisy? BO was the better candidate, get over it Repubs. And to the dems BO is still an untested politician who nobody really knows anything about. The left’s faith in him is as yet unfounded. Expecting the Repubs to play ball with him as if he were the second coming is naive. The current economic crisis is a necessary correction. You keep talking about getting the economy ‘back’. But back to what? The wealth never actually existed. It was an illusion created by an over-inflated housing market. Your imports have dwarfed your exports for years. You’ll get better, but not doing what you’re used to.
