Val: How's our little Luci doing these days?
Joan: She's good!
Joan: But she's still not crawling.
Val: She'll get motivated in due time.
Joan: Don't you WANT to crawl, Luci?
Luci: Why would I want to give up this sweet ride?
My kid never crawled. She did ‘butt-scootched’, but never crawl. Her head was always large and out of proportion to her body and arm strength, so any crawl attempt usually ended up whacking her head on the floor. She gave up and learned to walk first.
